SJAM Vision & Mission

II. TRAINING CHARTER
VISION

To provide quality first aid training using the latest knowledge and methodologies to as many people as possible, with the ultimate target of having one first aider in every home and one first aid squad in every school, office and factory. To also provide home nursing training to carers of the sick and old at home.

MISSION
We are committed to maintain our lead in the training of first aid, and home nursing through:

·

Organising more "train the trainer" courses in building up our pool of well qualified trainers;
·

Being in touch with the latest medical advances in the field and to adapt to changes in maintaining the best practices; and
·

Providing competent administrative support and an efficient customer service.

MCAD is working hard towards this vision.

In order to be self-dependent for our Basic First Aid Trainings, we encourage our members to excel their knowledge and skills through motivation, improvement and “upgrade”. With 7 Qualified First Aid Trainers in our division, not only allowing MCAD to be the division with the most number of First Aid Trainers in North East Area, or perhaps in the State of Penang. With these First Aid Trainers, we too an important fleet in helping other divisions, especially school divisions, in their First Aid Training.

Training is now MCAD’s “Branding”.

MCAD prepares her members from day one, to move towards excellence. Modules are added to existing syllabus to expose our members to prepare them to move faster then any other new members. They are trained in assisting Oxygen Administration, Bag-valve-mask resuscitation and Trauma Care.

Achieving success is commendable; repeating it, improving upon it, and sustaining it over the years is even a greater challenge to us.  MCAD is not satisfied with yesterday’s success, but committed to look for ways to improve.

Majority of our members are also trained in Home Nursing. They are trained to take care of the sick at home, and these skills are required during non-emergency transport service. With one of our members now qualified Staff Nurse, another two who are student-nurses, MCAD is looking forward to self-dependent in Home Nursing Trainings one day.
